PREPARATION

You will be asked to arrive at ViewPoint Laser Center approximately 30 minutes prior to your surgery time. The only anaesthetic you will have is in the form of eye drops, so you may eat, drink and take regular medications as usual on the day of surgery.

A friend or relative may accompany you throughout, and watch, your surgery.

If you wear contact lenses, you will need to leave them out for a pre-determined number of days prior to surgery:

Disposable
48 -72 hours

Soft
72 hours minimum - 1 week preferable

Hard
until topography is stable (up to 6weeks)
